Junior Control System Engineer - M/F
JOB DESCRIPTION

Your team:

Within the engineering division of the Paris office of Technip Energies you will be attached to the Instrumentation, Control System and Telecommunications department.

With 60 years of experience in energy project design, the division is made up of 600 people representing all the disciplines present on our installations (>20).

Your playground:

Within a multicultural task force attached to your discipline, you will participate in the engineering and design of projects carried out by TEN France for the groups various Business Lines (BL), low-carbon solutions (CO2 capture, H2, Wind), LNG or biofuels. On these projects, most often for export, you will interface with teams from other disciplines within TEN (project management, procurement, construction) as well as our mainly international partners (client, seller, engineering partner, etc.)

Your daily mission:
  • Analyze standards on a technical basis,
  • Select the technologies to be implemented,
  • Write out the specifications, functional analyses and requisitions,
  • Prepare the detail files related to the implementation of control systems,
  • Define the interfaces with the client team (operators, maintenance, IT...),
  • Define and validate the internal technical interfaces with the other disciplines,
  • Analyze and define the process control and safety,
  • Coordinate the technical aspects with the discipline squad leaders
  • Estimate and recommend the suppliers bids on a technical basis,
  • Monitor the purchase orders on a technical basis,
  • Manage the supplier documentation,
  • Chair meetings with suppliers,


The + of the position:
  • Participate to factory acceptance tests
  • Carry out commissioning missions on site


Your assets for success:
  • You are a graduate engineer training or you have 2 year university degree in industrial control and automation. You have through your graduation internship a first experience in engineering studies in control and safety systems.
  • Open minded, curious and adaptable, you are comfortable with a multi-cultural environment, and you are able to work with various partners and environments.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You are mobile for displacements of several months in vendor factories or expatriation for commissioning activities on site.

The process of recruitment

Following the evaluation of your CV by a Human Resources (HR) representative and a manager from the Instrumentation, Control System and Telecommunications department, you may be received for an HR interview and then two technical interviews.
