We are currently seeking a TS Buyer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur.

Successful candidates would be offered a fixed term of employment.

About the mission we offer you:

Executes procurement strategies for assigned components (goods / services), to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner.

Main Accountabilities

• Fulfills inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget.
• Prepares the Project Vendor List and selects the vendors from whom to order for their own sector of commodities with the collaboration of Project Procurement Managers and Purchasing Section Heads.
• Fulfills inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget.
• Makes sure that all the information necessary for issuing the inquiry is available.
• Checks purchasing conditions are applicable to the project and if not, reports to the Project Procurement Manager
• Expedites bids, performs bid opening and issuance of Bid Opening Report, CBT and shortlisting of bidders.
• Conducts all negotiations (including Terms and Conditions) with vendors.
• Issues final CBT for award recommendation
• Prepares the purchase order documents in due time and checks for quality.
• Contributes to recovery of amounts relevant to back-charges / liquidated damages notified to the vendors.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant disciplines
• Minimum 4 years in the related field (Procurement role)
• Experience in Project Purchasing activities.
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Good negotiation skills
