We are currently seeking for a Package Engineer Sr., reporting directly to Package section head to join our Equipment engineering division team based in Rome, Italy.

About the opportunity we offer:
You will work inside the Package Units Section. Packages are multidisciplinary units that are defined by their functionality. Every component included in the Package (e.g. pump, compressor, valve, vessel, electric motor, Instrument, control system, etc) is important for the functioning of the unit as a whole system.
Package Section is in charge of the management of Package Units on Proposals, FEED and EPC Projects.
Key interactions of the Package Senior Engineer are internally with Project teams, Procurement dept., Construction dept. and others engineering disciplines; externally with Clients, Vendors, Suppliers.
The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;
• preparation of material requisition for inquiry;
• technical analysis of received bids;
• preparation of material requisition for purchase;
• managing of detailed engineering phase and technical follow up of the orders ensuring proper communication with vendors
• adhere to the committed man / hours and budget;
• ensure timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer;
• meet quality and HSE objectives of the project;
• interface with other discipline engineers and project support functions such as procurement and planning.
You will have the opportunity to do business trips to attend to technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshop, move to other Technip Energies operating centers and join our colleagues overseas. Occasionally you will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities related to equipment directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.

Qualifications: Master degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering
Languages: English fluent
Main Skills:
• attitude to perform the work in team, in an international and multi-cultural environment
• capability to complete tasks on time with the required Company quality level
• open-mind with respect to new energy sources and digital solutions
• availability to international mobility for either short or long term assignment
• knowledge of new energy sources, renewables, green/blue hydrogen technologies as well as new digital tools and solutions will be appreciated
• it is a plus a previous experience (from 2 to 5 years) in similar role.
