Job Description:

This is a great opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer to join a successful team in Adelaide that oversee a multiple number of projects across several different sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for primary and/or secondary commissioning activities for transmission/distribution substation construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting test and commissioning standards, procedures, and the quality of works to meet the requirements of the project and expectations of the client
• Possess the ability to follow test procedures and electrical/mechanical drawings
• Conduct and compile commissioning methodology, plans, test reports, and relevant documentation as required
• Assist and provide technical expertise across HV substation primary plant and equipment, and secondary systems.

Requirements:

• Proficient with advanced electrical systems, and control systems
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in project engineering, construction and commissioning
• Strong written skill and the ability to produce correspondence and technical reporting as and when necessary
• Professional Electrical Engineer qualifications OR specialised in Power Systems – transmission and distribution.
