NES Fircroft is on the lookout for a passionate Structural Engineer to join a top-tier mining company in Queensland.

Working on a 4/3 roster either FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville OR DIDO from Mt Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay
 
What You'll Do:

• Design, analyse, inspect, verify, and fix both new and existing steel and concrete structures.
• Offer your specialized structural and civil engineering expertise to shape the company's strategy on business risks, technology, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain asset management plans for key structural and civil assets.
• Focus on fixing identified defects, handling technical queries on-site, and creating repair specifications and directions for project execution.
• Be ready to make important decisions on the ground.

 
About You:

• You have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and hold an RPEQ or CPEng certification.
• You're skilled in structural and civil engineering design, inspection, and remediation.
• You bring strong technical skills, ideally with experience in structural and civil engineering for process plants and mine sites.
• You have a solid understanding of Australian Standards and Regulations related to structural and project engineering.
• You're an expert in structural steelwork, with some knowledge of concrete; a civil background is a plus.
