We are seeking an experienced Petroleum Reservoir Engineer to join our client's Planning & Integration Team on a long term contract basis (40hrs p/w) located in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Annual Review of Petroleum Resources (ARPR) for our clients Integrated Gas Upstream business. Your primary focus will be on accurately estimating, classifying, and reporting reserves and resources while ensuring compliance with company standards and requirements. Additionally, you will play a key role in streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and maintain consistency in reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Estimate, classify, and report reserves and resources for Canadian Integrated Gas assets in the ARPR.
• Support controls/assurance processes and reporting, including quarterly In-Year Bookings, Basis-for-Booking, Reserves Endorsement Sessions, eRCCN and RCCN, Gas Commitment, and Statistical Information.
• Collaborate with the Country Reserves Focal Point and area teams to develop and communicate hydrocarbon maturation plans.
• Assist in generating Low/Base/High production and CAPEX/OPEX forecasts, factoring in risks associated with new major facilities.
• Manage preparations for internal and external audits.
• Handle peak workloads with a team-oriented approach.
• Maintain and refine established workflows to drive efficiency and simplify processes.
• Embrace Continuous Improvement by seeking opportunities to automate and streamline workflows.
• Support Planning & Integration team activities within Factory delivery processes and asset improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills needed to be succesful include:
• Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a reserves engineer.
• Strong reservoir engineering or technician skillset.
• Ability to adopt new methodologies and optimize workflows.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management, communication, and documentation.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ValNav is an advantage.
• Ability to commute to the local office in downtown Calgary, with potential for some travel.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
