Purpose:
The Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing project execution and driving new business across Practices for the Upstream Market. She/He has both Win-it and Do-it responsibility. This is an external facing role that builds a trusted and reliable relationship with Clients, as an internal facing role that builds strong teams and oversees excellence in execution. This position focuses on Upstream facilities projects.

Purpose:
The Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing project execution and driving new business across Practices for the Upstream Market. She/He has both Win-it and Do-it responsibility. This is an external facing role that builds a trusted and reliable relationship with Clients, as an internal facing role that builds strong teams and oversees excellence in execution. This position focuses on Upstream facilities projects.
Role Responsibility:
- Responsible for meeting the Order Intake KPI which is a segment of the required Global order intake
- Establish line of sight of, and develop the opportunity pipeline through early engagement for upstream market
- Work with heads of market and commercial leads to identify accesible market, key and strategic clients, and targeted project opportunities in alignment with the Genesis strategy
- Support Business Development campaigns to grow and diversify Genesis upstream market footprint and Client base
- Build Client relationships and improve Client intimacy, understanding of drivers / challenges
- Manage team utilization, team performance, and team development to ensure business success
- Sponsor studies/projects/tenders, supporting study managers and consulting team in their delivery; or assign suitable sponsors and track progress
- Responsible for the successful execution/ delivery of upstream projects along with client satisfaction
- Accountable/ responsible for opportunity commercial strategy, including preparation and delivery of competetive proposals
- Accountable for the Project profitability executed within the assigned project portfolio
- Accountable for ensuring purchase orders/variation orders are in place to cover all work completed for the Client
- Develop and maintain an awareness of competitors capabilities. Monitor market pricing and competitor activity.
- Provide leadership to a team of Study/Project Managers, ensuring strong engagement and motivation of the team, focused on results
- Collaborate closely with Local Resource Coordinator to ensure correct project staffing and profitability, and usage of Global Delivery Center in execution strategy
- Collaborate closely with P&C teams and Local Resource Coordinator to ensure a proactive approach to development and retention of talent within their team
- Global collaboration to ensure continuous improvement and simplification of processes and tools, with focus on digitalisation
- Ensure the team has the necessary competencies, including but not limited to engineering and design of hulls, mooring, risers, topsides, structures, electrical, instrumentation and control systems, including cost estimating and scheduling to execute projects and grow Genesis upstream business
- Collaborate closely alongside other delivery managers for downstream, sustainable energies, Subsea, and floating systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science with a Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Ocean Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of experience
- Strong understanding of offshore Topside facilities (equipment,) with previous supervisory experience
- Experience in floating systems supporting concept, front-end and detailed engineering studies
- Extensive experience with Client interfaces and understanding of Upstream market
- Excellent networking, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Impeccable and open communication style
- Ability to build client relationships quickly
- Previous experience in commercial aspects of engineering contracting / consulting
- Seeing the bigger picture to give Tenders and Study Deliverables an edge
- Experience in promoting complex technical offerings
