EngineeringAs Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Commissioning Preparation Engineer with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
The project is led from Bergen.
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?
- Develop commissioning procedures for a water treatment plant
- Work closely with Equinor Operation, suppliers and Aker multidisciplinary teams
- Develop commissioning procedures for process and mechanical equipment, and for control systems related to water treatment processes
- Ensure that procedures comply with technical specifications and regulations
- Participate in planning commissioning activities
- Attend meetings with client, suppliers and other stakeholders
Qualifications we think you should have:
- 5 years’ relevant experience within Oil & Gas Business
- Experience in commissioning activities
- Knowledge and competence within the area of Completion - minimum 2 years of experience as Completion Engineer or similar role
- Strong communication skills
- Skills in ProCoSys
- Fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary project environment
