Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop Operations Philosophy:
Design a comprehensive operations philosophy tailored to the PDH/PPP site, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Define key operational objectives, performance indicators, and reporting structures.
2. Elaborate with the operation process
Define the scope of operation services: control room, chemical injection, sampling, etc.
Evaluate the requirements in terms of subcontacting, means, major tools, storage requirements,
Detail the requirement for the laboratory (tools and equipment)
Perform risk assessments of operational activities, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation measures.
3. Operation Dimensioning
Collaborate with Maintenance and Inspection engineering team, maintenance preparation team and the procurement team to estimate the annual operation budget.
4. Operational review
review and comment all the design and engineering documents to ensure the operability of the plant.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
Advanced certifications in operations management or process safety are advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience as a production superintendent for a petrochemical site, with PDH / PP process.
Knowledge in UOP and Lyondelbasel process is a plus.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of operations philosophies, process safety, and performance management systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Other
Familiarity with international standards and best practices for operations and safety (e.g., API, ISO).
Ability to lead and collaborate in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
