MECHANICAL STATIC ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Static Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in designing static equipment for Ammonia-Urea (Fertilizer) projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in equipment design, project coordination, and engineering standards applicable to the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, and storage tanks for Ammonia-Urea projects.
• Perform mechanical calculations, stress analysis, and material selection in compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, TEMA, etc.).
• Ensure designs meet project specifications, safety requirements, and client expectations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, piping, structural, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review and approve technical drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to evaluate technical proposals and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure adherence to international engineering codes and best practices.
  Support project management teams in planning and executing design deliverables.

Profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in static equipment design within Ammonia-Urea (Fertilizer) projects. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, material selection, and industry standards. Proficiency in design software such as PV Elite, AutoPIPE, ANSYS, or similar tools. Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience in handling multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery of design outputs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
