Senior Manager, Corporate Communications – KBO Region (Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia)
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to lead and execute both external and internal communications strategies across our key markets in Bahrain, Oman, and Saudi Arabia (KBO cluster). In this pivotal role, you’ll adapt and localize global communications strategies, manage regional agency partners, and drive impactful initiatives that align with global, regional (CEMEA), and local business priorities—all while protecting and enhancing the company’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Regional Strategy: Proactively implement timely and efficient communications strategies aligned with regional business development priorities across the KBO markets.
- Reputation Management: Enhance corporate visibility and reputation among key audiences through impactful media coverage, message consistency, and perception audits where possible.
- Product & Innovation Communications: Develop and execute product communications plans, with an emphasis on digital payments and innovation.
- Agency Oversight: Lead and manage external communications agencies to ensure messaging and storytelling align with business goals, providing clear briefs, toolkits, and guidance.
- Campaign Development: Collaborate with business units to design and manage project-based campaigns, ensuring strategic implementation through agencies and tracking performance against KPIs.
- Message Alignment: Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and business teams to develop consistent messaging that supports both business goals and the overarching corporate narrative.
- Executive Profiling: Strategically position key market spokespeople through profiling and speaker engagement plans that align with business objectives.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier media across KBO, effectively pitching stories and securing quality coverage.
- Crisis Communications: Support crisis and issues management initiatives as a contributing member of the response team.
- Performance Reporting: Oversee media monitoring and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of communications efforts.
- Budget Management: Manage corporate communications budgets, including agency fees and campaign costs, across KBO markets.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure all communications processes meet global standards and are properly documented, approved, and followed.
- Partnership Communication: Collaborate with major partners on joint messaging strategies for key initiatives, securing necessary approvals and alignment.
- Internal Communications Strategy: Design and deliver internal communications plans that support GCC business priorities, executive engagements, and employee connection.
- Content Collaboration: Work closely with external communications teams to maintain message consistency and create fresh, engaging content.
- Employee Engagement Events: Plan and execute internal events (e.g., all-hands meetings, speaker series), crafting narratives, developing leadership messaging, and managing logistics.
- Cross-functional Support: Partner with internal teams to support a variety of employee communication initiatives across the business.
- Market Insight Application: Leverage deep understanding of the Saudi market’s cultural, economic, and regulatory environment to localize and optimize communication strategies.
- Digital Strategy (Saudi-specific): Create targeted digital and social media campaigns tailored to Saudi audiences and stakeholders.

Requirements:
Qualifications & Requirements – Senior Manager, Corporate Communications
- Experience:
- Solid years in communications, corporate communications, PR, or non-profit/mission-driven organizations
- Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or the broader GCC region is highly preferred
- Language & Writing Skills:
- Fluent in both Arabic and English, with strong copywriting and editing skills in both languages
- Proven ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content across platforms and formats
- Social Media Expertise:
- Deep understanding of and hands-on experience with key platforms in Saudi Arabia, including Twitter and LinkedIn
- Skilled at leveraging social media for corporate messaging, thought leadership, and brand reputation
- Communications Expertise:
- Strategic thinker with strong judgment and audience insight
- Familiar with modern communication tools, technologies, and industry best practices
