No experience / No degreeWe have a great opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Analyst on a long-term contract (12 months with view to renew) to start asap with one of our major energy clients based in the Edmonton, Alberta area.
The Supply Chain Analyst will typically support several brownfield projects with complex questions, checks correctness of data and adjusts and will also focus on managing contracts and supporting the EP contractor to procure material on our client’s behalf.

The Supply Chain Analyst will typically support several brownfield projects with complex questions, checks correctness of data and adjusts and will also focus on managing contracts and supporting the EP contractor to procure material on our client’s behalf.
Responsibilities include:
- Is assigned analysis tasks with brownfield projects to manage end to end.
- Is involved in drafting, negotiating and the formation of and post contract management and long-term agreements.
- Manages the relation with and professionally collaborates and engages with one or more (groups of) internal and external stakeholders including: EP Contractors, Engineering, Construction and Planning.
- Works autonomously, directly supporting management and specialists. Job requires a solid understanding of standard principles. Applies standard techniques or procedures to assigned tasks. Works with moderate supervision.
- Impacts the quality of parts of reports by delivering high quality analysis. Provides indirect advice which is further synthesized by senior colleagues.
- Identifies areas of improvement when applying the existing methodology and suggests changes.
- 10 years Supply Chain experience is required along with supporting Brownfield Projects
- Having worked with EP Contractors and Engineering partners to execute procurement strategies.
- Contract formation and post-contract management experience
- Experience in end-to-end contract sourcing, negotiations, market bids/tenders/RFPs evaluations
- Able to adjust global strategies to the current situation of the local business and market conditions.
- Able to influence stakeholders (Business, Supply Chain, Suppliers) to work together in an integrated way.
- Able to manage supplier relationships.
- SAP, ARIBA, PowerBI Dashboards
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
- Contract is based in Edmonton, AB region/area – no LOA, if applying from out of town, proof of accommodation required.
