Job Purpose
Lead and manage COMP8a EPC Contractor for safe and successful execution
of offshore brownfield scopes to meet EPC and overall project objectives by
ensuring quality, time of the work, effective and efficient delivery of NFPS

Key Job Accountabilities
- Manages and ensures successful execution of Offshore Brownfield project components to
meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule, and others, as appropriate)
- Provide offshore BF construction technical and execution expertise to support the
development of the project execution schedules, scope of work, constructability and
install ability methods and strategies
- Develop offshore logistics methods, strategies and plans for the BF execution plans – including
offshore accommodation and POB management, and marine operations (e.g., Jack-Up Barges,
DP Accommodation Vessels, Supply Vessels) strategies
- Coordinates and participates in project reviews and workshops, IPRs, CERs and SDMS Gate
Reviews, Engages in the development of the Project Plan, SHE Plan and Shutdown Plans.
Manages readiness reviews and approvals to proceed for major offshore activities including
site mobilization (e.g., JUB mobilization and set up), pre-shutdown, shutdown, and re-starts
- Supports and manages the EPC Procurement Strategies, Drive construction execution
planning, including incorporation of work packaging principles, Drive and communicate
project priorities and strategies to all pre-fabrication yard teams for Brownfield and tie-in
scopes
- Drive and lead CWA, CWP development, strategies, workpack preparation, reviews and
approvals, ensure that proper project controls are implemented and functioning well; take
timely corrective action and follow through to completion.
- Ensure interfaces (engineering, other construction / fabrication sites, commissioning /
startup, operations, etc.) are properly managed for Brownfield and tie-in scope
- Actively engage with Operations, Marine and Logistics organizations to solicit input, provide
feedback and seek alignment with BF construction execution plans as needed
- Knowledge-expert on operations and marine practices and procedures related to BF
construction (e.g., Work Management System (WMS), Permit-to-Work (PTW), SIMOPS, Marine
Operations Manual, Shutdown Management System (SDMS))
- As needed, may be assigned relief for the Mechanical Completions Lead
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation. OPITO certification is considered a plus.
- Ability to work on or be based on offshore platform or vessel.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years demonstrated experience including engineering, fabrication, construction and installation in major capital projects – especially in BF scopes
- Extensive experience with brownfield project execution both from Contractor and Client organizations as well as strong leadership qualities.
