NES Qatar is looking urgently for a “Civil and Structural Engineer”. Someone who Provide technical expertise in onshore and offshore structure and infrastructure aligned with department objectives in meeting Company Strategy

Designation :- Civil and Structural Engineer

Minimum Requirements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience
• At least 4 10 years’ engineering experience in an oil and gas environment.

Technical and Business Skills
• Fluent in English language (demonstrated verbal and written skills).
• Exposure in both onshore and offshore structural design/modification.
• Knowledgeable in structural integrity and life extension.
• Computer literate, and competent with a variety of engineering software tools.

Key Job Accountabilities

1. Prepare Conceptual Study, Design Basis, and civil/structural/infrastructure design as per companys Specifications and International Codes such as BS, API, DNV, AISC, AWS, OCIMF, PIANC, ISGOTT, ASCE, ACI, AISC, AASHTO, USACE, UBC and Qatar National Construction Standards.
2. Provide technical expertise support to all company Assets (Operations) identifying the timely solution of structural engineering to ensure Asset Integrity and Reliability sustaining Safe and Continuous Plant Environment.
3. Provide civil/structural engineering technical support to maintenance and throughout Project Life Cycle (Pre-FEED/FEED/Detail Design stages) ensuring Quality and Flawless execution.
4. Perform Economic/Financial Evaluation of all Feasibility Studies and Opportunities.
5. Develop Concept Packages and civil/structural engineering detailed drawings as per Company Project Management Systems.
6. Perform all the necessary complex/high level analysis and/or review as per the applicable specification or codes along with computer analysis software e.g. STAAD for onshore, and SACS (or equivalent) for offshore, and ANSYS for Finite Element.
7. Provide civil/structural SME technical support in all sessions of RCFA, RHAZOP, RA, Lifting, Excavation Certificate, Inspection Program, etc.
8. Liaise with consultants or shareholders, represent company to external agencies and conduct technical presentations.
