We are working with Woodside, recruiting for a Fixed Asset Accountant to join them on a 6 month contract.

About the Role:
This position reports to the Fixed Asset and Lease Manager in the Financial Control group with in Woodside. Assist with additional workload over the next 6 months in a supportive and dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Fixed Assets team with delivery of asset capitalisations. This will require:

• Liaising with Finance Business Partners and Tax to obtain required information for capitalisations
• Providing advice to the business on capitalisation requirements and process (masterdata and depreciation)
• Preparation of workbooks for capitalisation purposes
• Processing of asset capitalisations in S/4HANA
• SOX control compliance and testing
• Manage queries from Fixed Asset team and Finance Business Partners

Skills & Experience:

• 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Working towards CA / CPA qualification (desired)
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (desired)
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills,
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and with various stakeholders.
