We are currently seeking a E&I Superintendent, reporting directly to Construction Manager to join our Construction team based in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

About the opportunity we offer:
Provides coordination of Instrumentation and Electrical work on a field construction project. Supervise all aspects of electrical and instrumentation installations. Liaison with the Home Office engineering and Field Engineering to resolve engineering, design and constructability issues. When requested, formally inspects the work performed for compliance with design, all applicable codes, and specifications. Responsible for and will be accountable for ensuring that the project is constructed safely and in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes, as well as for the timely completion of Systems to be turned over to commissioning. Perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Subcontractors counterpart to lead a team of supervisors of the subcontractors.
- Spend most of the work shift in the field, to monitor and oversee Subcontractors activities; carry out QC and HSE tasks as requested
- Plan and schedule the E&I Construction deliverables to enable efficient project execution
- Coordinate all aspect of the preparation work with the craft labor organization.
- Coordinate with the electrical and instrumentation engineering department for the delivery of drawings in accordance with the construction schedule.
- Coordinate training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed.
- Identify and secure necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget and/or schedule.

About you:

- Qualifications: Engineering Degree
- Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience: Minimum 10 years relevant experience in petrochemical/refinery facilities, power, petrochemical or heavy industrial systems on a construction project. Must a have full understanding of working in a new plant environment during plant construction; brown field experience desirable and will be a plus. Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards. Ability to develop 3 weeks look ahead schedule in regards to E/I work operations.
- Main skills: Supervisory experience required. Should have good oral, written communication skills and basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
