NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI Oil & Gas client looking to add a Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Monaco working on a FPSO development.

The role will be contract based initial 12 month with excellent potential to extend. It will require a candidate to be based from their office in Monaco full time Monday – Friday. In return the client will offer an excellent day rate of pay.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that candidates have existing Right To Work in the EU.

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Engineer, you play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of complex offshore projects as part of our project management community. With a minimum of 10 years of experience, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating all project activities, ensuring the project objectives are met efficiently and within budget and time constraints. This senior role requires strong leadership and in-depth expertise across multiple project EPCI disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• You lead the development and management of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• You oversee coordination between engineering, procurement, and construction teams, ensuring all project requirements are thoroughly met.
• You conduct and oversee advanced technical evaluations, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to guide project decision-making.
• You monitor and drive project progress, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to ensure milestones are met.
• You act as key liaison with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across all project phases.
• You mentor more junior project engineers and support their development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management within the oil and gas sector, with demonstrated expertise in large-scale projects.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
