Join a dynamic team focused on advancing wind energy projects in Vietnam. This position involves key responsibilities in identifying and assessing potential sites, with a strong emphasis on GIS management and project development. Collaborate with local and international teams to leverage GIS tools for site analysis and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and integrate GIS data from various sources.
• Develop and maintain GIS databases and applications.
• Create precise maps using GIS software.
• Analyze geographic and wind resource data.
• Conduct desktop screenings and site identification.
• Generate site layouts considering environmental and regulatory factors.
• Conduct practical site searches and compare them with desktop studies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to assess site feasibility, including environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Perform comprehensive site assessments for wind energy projects.
• Prepare and present site proposals and reports.
• Coordinate with consultants and internal stakeholders to meet project development requirements.
• Support project development activities.
• Travel to project sites for data collection and assessments.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in GIS management within renewable energy projects.
• Experience in renewable energy site assessments, including land use and infrastructure evaluation.
• Advanced skills in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Familiarity with Vietnam's renewable energy regulations is a plus.
