Job Summary: We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the Human Resources organization located in The Woodlands, TX office.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:
•3 years of experience in payroll administration
•Experience with HR and payroll systems, such as ADP, SAP and/or SuccessFactors.
•Experience with federal, state and local payroll laws
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Flexible work aptitude and a willingness to take on new tasks as needed
•Ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines while providing excellent customer
service to our associates
•Ability to work with highly sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
Responsibilities:
•Processes bi-weekly payroll through the use of our SAP Payroll system
•Respond to employee's payroll and time entry questions
•Maintains payroll related spreadsheets
•Performs research and provides resolutions for payroll/time related issues
Education:
High School diploma required.
Certifications/Licenses:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
Work Schedule:
This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and working remote Wednesday and Friday. Monday-Thursday are 9 hours and Fridays are 4 hours.
