Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor the Distributed Control System (DCS) to control and optimize waste combustion, steam production, and energy recovery processes.

Respond to system alarms and upsets, and take timely corrective actions to maintain safe plant operation.

Coordinate with field operators, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure optimal process performance.

Record and report operational data, incidents, and routine shift logs.

Support plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency response procedures.

Ensure strict compliance with environmental and safety standards specific to WTE operations.

Requirements
-
Experience operating DCS systems in power plants, WTE facilities, or industrial thermal processing plants.

Solid understanding of thermal and energy recovery processes, preferably with background in combustion systems.

Familiarity with emissions control, waste feed systems, and steam turbine operation is highly desirable.

Strong safety mindset and working knowledge of HSE regulations.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficiency in English (minimum B2 – CEFR); other languages are an advantage.
