- Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the specific needs of the project.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Align procurement plans with project schedules, budgets, and objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors based on project requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and long-term collaboration.
- Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and compliance with contractual terms.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, purchase orders, and agreements with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Manage contract changes, claims, and disputes in collaboration with legal and project teams.
- Oversee the procurement process, including issuing requests for quotations (RFQs), evaluating bids, and awarding contracts.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services to meet project milestones.
- Monitor and track procurement progress, addressing any delays or issues proactively.
- Manage procurement budgets and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to ensure competitive procurement practices.
- Provide regular reports on procurement costs, savings, and financial performance.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and non-compliance.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential risks and ensure project continuity.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure transparency and accountability in procurement process.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A masters degree or certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM, PMP) is a plus.

- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or project management, preferably in industries such as construction, engineering, energy, or manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing procurement for large-scale projects.

- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

- Soft Skills:
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Leadership skills to manage procurement teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
