We are seeking an experienced BESS Electrical Engineer with a strong EPC background to join our team in Melbourne, Brisbane, or Sydney. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, contributing to Australia’s renewable energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical design, engineering, and integration of BESS projects.
• Support FEED, detailed design, and commissioning phases within an EPC framework.
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards and grid connection requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients.
• Conduct technical assessments and risk analysis for electrical systems.
• Provide expertise in power systems, protection, and control strategies.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in electrical engineering, with 3+ years in BESS projects.
• Strong background in EPC project execution.
• Proficiency in power system studies, HV/LV design, and grid compliance.
• Experience with SCADA, EMS, and PCS integration.
• Knowledge of NEM, AEMO, and Australian grid codes.
