Years experience in the position: 5-10 years.
Education: Bachelor's degree in structural engineer/ naval architect and industry lifting qualifications.

The lifting engineer will be responsible for ensuring all lifting operations are planned and performed safely in accordance with project applied standards. The engineer shall review and approve all contractors lifting work including but not limited to:

• Generic lifting plans
• Engineered lifting plans
• Readiness to perform major lifts as per approved procedures
• rigging arrangements
• rigging inspection and certification validity
• crane operator competence and certification
