SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Analyst (NYSC Intern) to join our team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data gathering, cleaning, visualization, and reporting to support decision-making within the business. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in data-driven problem-solving within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and analyze data from various departments (operations, HR, finance, etc.)
Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
Work with stakeholders to identify business trends and generate actionable insights
Support the preparation of periodic data reports and presentations
Maintain accurate documentation of data sources, methods, and processes
Identify inconsistencies in data and recommend solutions for data quality improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects that require data analysis
Ensure data privacy and compliance in line with internal data protection guidelines
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is an added advantage
Good understanding of basic data analysis principles
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
