We are inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Instrumentation Supervisor for a large-scale LNG project located in Ensenada, Mexico. This is a unique opportunity to be considered for future roles in a dynamic and technically challenging environment.
About you:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commissioning field activities of all instrumentation systems on an LNG construction project site. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising the installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems to ensure they meet project specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bilingual ability to speak in both Spanish and English
• Minimum 10 years proven experience in instrumentation on a LNG field site in oil & gas, petrochemical or large-scale industrial construction projects.
• Ability to make decision and resolve situations independently in completing assigned task under minimal supervision and technical direction
• Familiarity with international standards and safety practicies
• Proficent in using calibration tools and loop testing equipment
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results
• Manage challenging situations effectively and adapts to varying work situations

This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising the installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems to ensure they meet project specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.

- Overseeing the day-to-day execution of instrumentation craft activities ensuring compliance with standards,
- Responsible for the application of instrumentation and control systems, including fire & gas and telecommunication
- Lead loop checks, functional testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems and organize the Loop Checks required to Handover to the Complex
- Participates in regular progress and coordination meetings
- Prepares and issues testing procedures for approval
- Identifies required resources for test (man and material), organizes tests teams and establishes priorities
- Ensure that record sheets are properly used and that Companys representatives sign-off
- Establishes a system of reliable follow-up of loop testing activity and clearing of punch lists
- Ensure proper execution of commissioning procedures, checklist and schedules on the installation, calibration, and functionality of field instruments, control valves, transmitters, and analyzers.
- Interface with construction, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during commissioning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of commissioning activities, test results, and punch lists.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and client personnel.
- Participate in system walk-downs and ensure timely closure of punch items.
