We are looking for a Senior Dynamic Simulation Process Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Contract Type: Permanent

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Master's degree in process engineering or chemical engineering Experience:
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in dynamic process simulation within an engineering environment

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Aspen HYSYS Dynamics, AVEVA Dynsim, or Unisim Dynamics
• Solid understanding of gas treatment, liquefaction, and/or CO2 capture processes
• Deep knowledge of process control and safety systems
• Familiar with applicable standards and codes: API, ISO, ANSI
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluent professional English (spoken and written)

• Analytical mindset, rigorous and autonomous
• Strong technical leadership and team collaboration
• Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Activities:

• Lead and execute dynamic process simulation studies for complex industrial projects (natural gas treatment/liquefaction or CO2 capture), during FEED or EPC phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and clarify technical requirements
• Collect, analyse, and model process data
• Build dynamic simulation models using Aspen HYSYS Dynamics, AVEVA Dynsim, or Unisim Dynamics
• Simulate transient operating scenarios (start-up, shutdown, failure cases, etc.)
• Optimize control strategies, safety systems, and energy performance
• Interface with other disciplines (instrumentation, safety, piping, commissioning, etc.)
• Deliver technical documentation and study reports
• Supervise other engineers if required
• Review and approve work done by others in the simulation team
