JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a Electrical Designer, reporting directly to HOD to join our Electrical team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

About the role:

In this role, you will ensure technical integrity of the Electrical deliverables for the project. In particular ensure compliance with the work scope and with applicable international standards. You will bring to the team your technical and industry experience and practical engineering skills to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Technip Energies and its clients. You will be dedicated to one or several projects requiring higher technical level and help oversee junior engineer's work.

About You

Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
• 6-11+ years of experience in Electrical design and engineering of oil & gas / large industrial projects
• Well versed with ETAP Software; SPEL Software is mandatory for this role
• Significant Experience in preparing Electrical design basis, evaluation and specification of Electrical equipment and automation systems, package items and Electrical Bulk items.
• Significant experience in various power system analysis study Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting, Transient Stability, Harmonic Analysis, Arc flash, Protection Relay Coordination, etc.
• A thorough knowledge of the regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of onshore & offshore engineering practices applicable to electrical design for oil and gas facilities.
• Experience in brown fields projects and preparation of adequacy report and modification scope of work of existing equipment.
