Intertek is currently seeking a highly experienced HSE Manager to join a Prestigious infrastructure project headed by the the Government’s PIF entity in Riyadh, KSA.
The successful candidate will oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities on-site, with a particular focus on mega-scale steel operations, including crane coordination, high-risk lifting activities, and heavy welding works.
Duration: 3 years contract under Intertek KSA office (expact contract if applicable)
Key Responsibilities

Lead and enforce HSE strategies across multi-crane, high-risk construction zones involving 1,000+ workers

Implement hazard-specific control measures related to work at height, hot works, crane lifts, and steel assembly

Conduct multilingual safety inductions, manage behavior-based safety (BBS) programs, and run internal HSE audits

Ensure compliance with local regulations, international HSE frameworks, and all client-specific standards

Oversee incident management systems, root cause analysis, and preventive/corrective action plans

Utilize digital dashboards, drone surveillance, and automated permitting tools to enhance safety visibility

Supervise fall arrest systems, scaffold inspections, confined space entry/rescue, and emergency protocols
Qualifications

Minimum 20 years of HSE experience in large-scale steel construction environments

Strong background in mega projects, including modular steel, heavy lifting, and high-altitude operations

HSE Certifications: NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent

Advanced training in confined space rescue, work at height, and temporary works inspections

Proficient with safety tech tools: digital dashboards, drone monitoring, incident tracking systems
