- Optimize liquidity, mitigate financial risks, and drive operational efficiency across cash management, foreign exchange (FX), and working capital.
- Ensure robust cash flow forecasting, efficient fund utilization, and compliance with regional regulations while managing FX exposure through proactive hedging strategies and accurate reporting.
- Participate in business transformation initiatives to enhance treasury processes and leverage technology.
Main Challenges
- Project management ability ability to manage multitude of project, involving different interaction points, deliverables and deadlines.
- Attention to detail Able to perform deep-dive to understand, identify and propose system enhancement.
- Interactive & communication skills regular interaction and communication across departments, across countries, and with internal and external parties.
Main Accountabilities
- This is a country and regional role.
- Management Responsibility - Manage the daily operation of treasury front and back office covering cash management, foreign exchange and bank administration scope.
- Cash Management Oversea fund allocation for payment campaign, ensure maximum yield on idle cash, review weekly and monthly reporting on cash position, review and consolidate quarterly long-term cash forecast for APAC & ensure healthy working capital requirements for each entity.
- Foreign Exchange Management Enforce Group hedging policy by ensuring forex risks are identified, quantified and hedged. Ensure hedge accounting policies are adhered to.
- Banking relationship manage bank facilities (cash management & fx limits) to ensure pricing, terms and condition are aligned to Group policies and guidelines. Continuous engagement with banks to explore and implement banking solutions that enhances security, efficiency and return on investment of company funds.
- Internal relationship liaise with regional treasurers on reporting and related cash and fx topics, work with projects & cost controllers on fx and working capital topics, formulate treasury solutions to meet specific project requirements.
- Bank administration regular review and update of bank signatories, review bank documentation and terms & conditions, ensure online banking structure meets operation requirements.
- External relationship liaise with auditors.
- Regulatory compliance familiarization and update on foreign exchange regulations and policies for APAC countries. Liaise with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) including sending ad-hoc application and meetings on FXAdmin matters.
- Transformation & Integration projects APAC lead on treasury system implementation, upgrade and training needs.

- Ensure timely and adequate fx risk mitigation
- Ensure process optimization to improve on efficiency and internal control

About you:
- This is a team contributor role. It is suitable for candidates who can work independently, have good time and task management skills, and have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least 7 years of working experience in banking (trade) or treasury (front office), preferably with Energy related industry experience.
- Masters Degree/Degree in finance, accounting, or banking preferred but not mandatory.

JOB SUMMARY
Treasury Manager
