Partly remoteWe have a current opportunity for a Consultant Package Responsible - Control & Protection on a contract basis with a leading and international power infrastructure company (grid connections and power quality solutions).
The position will be based in Oslo with some flexibility on office attendance.

The position will be based in Oslo with some flexibility on office attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the electrical design of the substation, follow up the control and protection package, calculation, and documentation (Base design, Detail Design, “As Built”, etc. up to project close-out)
- Take responsibility for preparation/follow up of relevant procedures related to project scope.
- Making technical recommendations in the Control and Protection design, engineering and execution phases of customer projects to ensure all actions are
- completed according to process requirements and standards, while identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
- Provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities.
- Collaborating and networking with engineering colleagues, sharing best practice across different projects and disciplines, developing your leadership, coordination and communication skills with the support of the local and international teams.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field.
- Broad knowledge in substation Control and Protection engineering and execution.
- 5-10 years of experience in engineering department or site works., working as
- Control and Protection engineer with high voltage substations.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills to quickly resolve project related activities and issues.
