EngineeringRole Overview As an Engineering Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering technically robust, cost-effective, and timely engineering solutions that support the strategic objectives of the organization. Your contribution will directly impact operational efficiency, asset integrity, and environmental performance across offshore and onshore energy infrastructure projects.
You will be accountable for overseeing the complete engineering scope within multidiscipline project teams, from early conceptual phases through detailed design and execution, ensuring that all activities align with industry regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering work scopes, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality targets.
- Manage the integration of engineering deliverables across all disciplines, coordinating closely with procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls.
- Oversee the design process and provide assurance that engineering solutions are safe, sustainable, and compliant with all technical and regulatory standards.
- Ensure effective risk management and support hazard identification and mitigation processes (e.g., HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical challenges and optimize design solutions.
- Participate in stage-gated project reviews and contribute to investment decision support packages.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team through lessons learned, technical benchmarking, and adoption of best practices.
- Monitor engineering progress and performance metrics, reporting regularly to the Project Management Team (PMT).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline).
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in engineering design, project delivery, or technical management, preferably in the offshore energy or oil & gas sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering scopes within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in offshore or FPSO industries is a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of hazard and effects management principles.
- Proficient in engineering design and analysis tools (e.g., simulation software, 3D modeling, calculation platforms).
- Skilled in concept development, systems engineering, and technical integration.
- Familiar with inspection, testing, commissioning, and performance verification processes.
- Experience with managing third-party engineering contractors or subcontractors.
- Strong analytical thinking, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
