NES Qatar is working with a top tier Oil & Gas client in Qatar to hire multiple Senior Financial Analysts to lead financial planning and analyst for major capital projects across upstream and downstream. 
You will be working with the Head of Budget , with 2 direct reports. 

Key responsibilites:

• Lead CAPEX budgeting and forecasting cycles for upstream, midstream, or downstream projects
• Analyze variances between budget, forecast, and actuals; provide insights and recommendations for corrective action
• Develop financial models for project investment appraisals and scenario analysis
• Perform detailed reiew of the Work Program and Budget, Supplementary Budget, Budget Revisions. Budget Transfers, Authorization for Expenditure and cost reallocation journal entries and ensure adequacy, correctness and relevance of supporting documentation and justification
• Prepare monthly and quarterly CAPEX reports for internal stakeholders
• Support internal and external audits relating to project expenditures 
• Communicate financial performance to key stakeholders including finance leadership, operations and joint venture partners.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Professional qualification is essential  (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Over 7 years of experience with relevant work experience in a similar position including Budgeting, Planning, Costing Management Accounting and Reporting, functions preferably in Oil and Gas industry. 
• Proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
