We are looking for a Smart Electrical Database Administrator (SPEL/SEL) for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: La Defense, Paris / Nanterre

Contract Duration: 12 months

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Minimum: Higher National Diploma (HND), BTS, or DUT in Electrical Engineering or IT
• Good understanding of electrical systems (e.g., consumer list, power balance, SLD, cable routing/sizing)
• Hands-on experience with SEL database as User, Super-user, or Administrator
• Solid IT and database management skills
• Proficient in English (minimum working knowledge)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented

Role Overview

• As a Smart Electrical Database Administrator (SPEL/SEL), you will support the Electrical Engineering team in managing, maintaining, and optimizing the SEL (Smart Electrical) database system. You will ensure that tools and processes run smoothly and that all users are supported and trained accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain the SEL electrical database
• Manage access rights, user accounts, and permissions
• Provide training and user support for internal stakeholders
• Analyze and understand user needs and usage patterns
• Conduct software testing and validate updates or new releases
• Develop and maintain technical procedures and user manuals
• Interface the SEL database with other engineering and digital tools
• Identify, report, and troubleshoot bugs; propose corrective measures
• Collaborate with engineering teams and project stakeholders

Quality & Methodology

• Ensure compliance with project-specific procedures, industry standards, and quality expectations
• All deliverables must meet technical and content quality criteria
• Documents must be delivered in English

• Adhere to project planning and timeline as defined by the client project leads
