Instrument & Electrical Technician
Job Purpose:
Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Profile
- High School Diploma / Technical certificate in Discipline.
- Minimum 3 years recent experience in the petrochemical, refining, oil /gas exploration and/or production industries in a similar role.

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Doha, Qatar for:
Instrument & Electrical Technician
Job Purpose:
- Be capable of communicating in English language.
- Carry out unsupervised, maintenance work, both corrective and preventive on mostly conventional electrical and instrumentation systems & equipment including repairs & general tests. Carry out installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of high and low voltage equipment as well as specific tasks e.g. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems, field instrumentation etc.
- Follow QatarEnergy safety regulations and instructions with regard to executing work activities, consideration of safety of others within his work party or vicinity. Be physically fit to be part of the FMB and/or STP's Emergency Response Team.
- Understand and implement appropriate maintenance and repair procedures as detailed by the OEM in their operating and maintenance manuals.
