The Land Analyst or Land Administrator will support the acquisition and management of geothermal leases, electrical transmission or pipeline rights-of-way (ROW), and access contracts across Company’s portfolio of geothermal energy developments. This person will be responsible for administering leases, developing data management processes, and assisting with land transactions to ensure compliance with landowners and regulatory requirements at the federal, state, and local levels. The Land Analyst or Land Administrator will play a critical role in supporting project development by managing lease payment terms, interpreting energy lease contract language, and facilitating transmission ROW agreements. This position will be based at Company Energy's Salt Lake City office, with travel to various field locations required. This position will report to the Senior Director of Land, Environment, & Permitting.

- Lease Data Management: Maintain and update lease records, including key dates, financial obligations, and provisions within a lease management system (e.g., Quorum)
- Resource Lease Management: Administration of geothermal leases, ensuring compliance with unique geothermal lease terms, payment structures, tracking varying lease based tax obligations, etc.
- Payments and Invoicing: Manage and track lease payments, including rent, royalties, and fees, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies
- Lease Auditing and Reporting: Conduct regular audits to ensure lease data is accurate and generate reports on lease status, obligations, and payments
- Handling Lease Expirations and Renewals: Track lease expirations and manage the renewal process, including lease renegotiations or terminations
- Acquisition Support: Support acquisition processes for transmission corridors and geothermal leases
- Bachelor’s degree in Land Management, Real Estate, Business, Paralegal, or a related field, or 4 years of experience
- 3 years of experience managing and tracking leases, lease payments, lease administration, with a strong focus on database maintenance
- Strong knowledge of energy lease contracts, terms, and exhibits
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex data sets and ensure accuracy in lease payment documentation and timeliness of payments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively
- Proficiency with Quorum or similar software for managing land and lease data
- Membership in the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), International Right of Way Association (IRWA) or graduation from a land management program
