Our client, a fast-growing electrical services provider, is looking for a permanent, full-time HR Manager to be based in their Loveland, CO headquarter office.

About our Client:

Our client, a Certified Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), is a specialized electrical contractor serving the Rocky Mountain Region from New Mexico to North Dakota. With extensive experience in the Heavy Industrial market, especially in Oil & Gas facility maintenance and construction, our client also offers Commercial and Residential electrical services. Additionally, they actively pursue government contract work at the federal, state, and local levels.

Position Summary:

This is a full-time, in office role for an HR Manager in Loveland, CO. The HR Manager will be responsible for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable state laws.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a broad range of HR Responsibilities including benefits compliance, payroll oversight, performance management, employee relations, onboarding, training, and development.
  • Lead and drive strategic HR initiatives to improve organizational culture and employee engagement.
  • Ensure all internal HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with relevant state laws and regulations.
  • Provide expertise in payroll and employee benefits administration for territories covered: Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico.
  • Assist in facilitating a transition from ADP Run to ADP Workforce. Monitor the implementation to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll and HR policies.
  • Coordinate with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure a seamless transition between ADP Run and ADP Workforce Now.
Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8 years’ experience in all HR concentrated areas such as; benefits, compensation, workforce planning and employment, employee relations, employee development, and training.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple HR-related tasks and work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.
  • Experience managing permanent and contingent employee workforce (W2, 1099, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of compliance with federal and state labor laws across relevant territories: Texas, Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico.
  • Dynamic ability in developing subject matter expertise related to company-specific handbooks and HR guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage with internal employees and external vendors on a written and verbal level.
Technical Skills:
  • Relevant Certification(s):
    • SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR, GPHR, CPLP, TMP, aPHR.
    • Technical Proficiency with ADP Run and ADP Workforce Now
    • Payroll Software and Time Sheet Management Systems
    • HR Information Systems (ADP Workforce Now, Workday, BambooHR)
    • Benefits Administration Software
    • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
