Project Assistant
Job Title: General Assistant
Location: Energy Corridor
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Onsite)
  • Core Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
  • Candidates must be able to report to either location as needed
Top 3 Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong experience in coordinating meetings, lunches, and department/project events
Interview Process:
  • Virtual interview (first round)
  • Onsite interview (second round)
Responsibilities:The General Assistant will perform advanced administrative duties while working independently and resolving issues without direct supervision. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Performs complex administrative support duties with minimal supervision
  • Researches and compiles information for reports and trend analysis
  • Routes or responds to routine correspondence
  • Assists in department budgeting, business planning, and logistics coordination
  • Regularly interacts with customers, partners, suppliers, and employees
  • Coordinates logistics/travel arrangements and resolves related issues
  • Assists in recruiting processes and training of junior administrative staff
  • Serves as a key resource for department operations and processes
  • Creates and manages spreadsheets, databases, and reports
  • Suggests process improvements for increased efficiency and communication
  • Prepares complex presentation materials and maintains organized filing systems
  • Manages scheduling for meetings, conferences, and special events
  • Handles confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
  • Strong knowledge of organizational policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize department-specific software
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information
