We are seeking a Document Control to work for a major LNG project in Brownsville, TX, for an initial 1-year assignment likely to be extended.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of electronic submissions.
• Support integration of document control strategies between the various Stakeholders and to ensure improved work processes.
• Support and provide instruction on work processes and systems for the PMT as required.
• Support Contract and Document Control Compliance initiatives defined by Company to ensure that
file systems information is up to date and organized.
• Support Document Control Planning for Site and PMT requirements for Field Document Control
processes and procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of the workflow process for documentation within the Company
document management system.
• Maintain close relationships with the PMT ensuring support is available.
• Be active in observance of safety in work areas.
• Identify opportunities within document management to integrate effective workflow processes for
the PMT.
• Receive, review, and distribute project documentation received from Contractors in a timely manner
to the Project Management Team as required.
• Work to maintain accurate records of documentation process flows within the document
management system.
• Be proactive in researching and acquiring data to support the project.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum experience required for the position
• 5+ years experience as a Document Controller in a project organization, either on the EPC or client side.
• Previous experience in utilizing electronic document management systems.
Preferred education
• Bachelors degree in an applicable discipline.

Job Site Work Environment
• Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
• Operates in a complex construction environment.
• Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
• Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits.
• Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.
• Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.

• Physically able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle, and lift items weighing up to 20 lbs. without assistance.
• Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
