Contracts Administrator


We have a current opportunity for a Contracts Administrator on a 12 month contract. The position will be based in central London with an energy supermajor.

Purpose:
Responsible for post-award Contract Administration within the Procurement function, supporting Contract Holders and ensuring effective contract execution in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer contracts post-award, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
  • Support Contract Holders and Procurement in resolving contractual issues, changes, disputes, and procedural matters.
  • Participate in handovers, kickoff, and progress meetings; document meeting outcomes.
  • Monitor contract KPIs, spending, expiration, and contractor performance.
  • Ensure contractors submit required documentation and meet contractual obligations.
  • Identify and report execution issues and irregularities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Review and assess contract changes, disputes, claims, and penalties.
  • Assist in correspondence with contractors; maintain complete documentation.
  • Share contract management lessons learned across the organization.
Interfaces:
  • Internal: Reports to Contract Admin Coordinator; liaises with Procurement, Legal, Finance, HSE, and User Units.
  • External: Interfaces with contractors for post-award matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Contract Administration.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of contract terms, regulations, and industry standards (preferably energy sector).
  • Understanding of HSE, technical specs, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with post-award processes; basic understanding of pre-award activities.
  • Fluent in English; Italian preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
