Your role and responsibilities
ABB is seeking an Executive Project Assistant to support key U.S. Functional leaders based in the Cary and Atlanta headquarters. This role will perform a wide variety of project-oriented duties, some of a highly confidential and sensitive nature, in support of the Global Country Holding Officer. This role is 60% executive administrative, 40% project support. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide administrative services, secretarial assistance, and project coordination support at a North American / Global organizational and business levels. You will also showcase your expertise by taking ownership of delivering specific business processes/programs. This role will need to be able to work in-person in Cary, NC (#LI-Onsite). You will be mainly accountable for: - Acting as a primary point of contact/liaison for US CHO office based in Cary HQ as well as lead and support projects managed by the US CHO including extensive collaboration with Legal, Tax, HR, Treasury, Communications, and Information Service teams. - Assisting business/business managers in all business-relevant administration tasks, such as conducting research, compiling, verifying the information, and creating special reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence, and other relevant documents. - Acting as the point of contact for internal/external inquiries via phone and email, assessing the urgency of issues, and initiating appropriate action. - Arranging business-critical internal/external events, including arranging travel, developing itineraries, booking accommodation, registering for conferences, and coordinating with visiting speakers, among other tasks. - Supporting executive-level communication efforts including drafting announcements and company-wide messaging

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree (Required) with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in an administrative and/or project-based role
- Strong computer skills required, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint; SAP ERP experience preferred
- Highly organized with analytical and project management skills; an aptitude for numbers, problem solving, and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and calendar management preferred
- Experience with and ability to effectively handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- Experience in a large, corporate environment, preferably global and matrixed
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 30%
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
