The Service Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating the service jobs for the EU/Americas service engineer team, perform product training for Emerson Marine global service team and for system operators / customers.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Technical support for customer inquiries (email and phone).
  • General support for customers and service engineers.
  • Setup and carry out product training for our global service team and perform onsite training for customers/crews.
  • Support in offering and selling of aftermarket/service products and develop aftermarkets offers with BDM for aftermarket.
  • Arrange information material for the service engineers regarding the service job.
  • Approval of service reports and follow-up


Who You Are:

You identify and seize new opportunities. You readily can propose future scenarios. You partner with others to get work done.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Electrical/mechanical background with a good knowledge of software and hardware
  • At least two years' experience from similar work.
  • Guiding ability and experience, presentation skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Capacity to work in a global environment. Computer literate and experience with MS Office, Excel and SAP
