NES are looking to recruit for a Chartering Buyer on a 12-month contract based South West Paris, France for our EPC client.

Location: Paris, South West (potentially 1day/week remote)
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 12 months
Rate: € negotiable depending on experience

Key responsibilities:
Main duties:
The activity of this service will focus on:
• Transport Purchase operation and trading in chartering.
• Reviewing and analysing purchase requisitions.
• Preparing bids.
• Issuing requests for quotes/information.
• Reviewing quotations.
• Negotiating for the purchase of goods and equipment.
• Carrying out administrative activities in support of the purchasing function.

Skills and Qualifications:
•  Experience: 3-10 years minimum experience in procurement, particularly within the EPC industry.
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring all procurement activities are accurately documented.

Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of Bimco C/P
• Candidate shall have experience in Vessels chartering and/or Vessels operation
• Experience in multipurpose and offshore is a plus.
• English and French speaking

Desirable:
• Previous experience working in France
