MISSION
The service holder is responsible for coordinating and supervising the Purchasing activities that could be necessary during the Life of Project and FEED activities up to the close out.
ACTIVITIES
Compliance and Conduct:
Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding the Company's "Code of Conduct" and HSSE rules and regulations, Implement HSE rules and requirements within your area of responsibility, Comply with HSSE training requirements for the position, stay informed about Company rules, specifications, and procedures related to Purchasing.
Participate to the Integrity / Compliance committee as required. Disseminates Company’s best practices with department stakeholders, commit to encourage the application of the Code of Conduct, adopts its principles of integrity and ways to prevent corruption.
Purchasing Management: which includes verifying the existence and validity of contracts for the supply of goods and services whilst liaising with internal customers and suppliers about the purchasing activities of the Company.
Suppliers Management: manages and plans constructive interactions with the suppliers to ensure that the Company is obtaining goods at the most competitive price and as per defined deadlines.
• Issues out tenders (as per Company’s best practices and local authorities’ requirements), adjudication and making award recommendations with the Local Contracts Committee
• Monitors performance of suppliers and contractors and take corrective actions when necessary
• Approves requests to pay suppliers and ensure they are in line with the contracts or purchase orders
• Maintains updated supplier’s database and conducts annual suppliers’ visits and evaluations as required
Information Management: Updates and maintains the Purchasing data, Vendor Master data and updates Suppliers / Contractors databases.
• Ensures that purchasing activities are conducted as per COMPANY’s and Affiliates rules and referential
• Supervise the activities of Purchasing Assistants as required
• Key user support of SAP Materials Management Module for Goods and Services
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to Head Office, using the applicable tools (Sequana)
Suppliers Payments: Check and approve bank instructions for supplier payments.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Qualification: University Degree in supply chain management / logistics and supply / finance or accounting
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Languages: English mandatory
• Professional Experience: 10-15 years
• Experience in similar position: 5-10 years’ experience in a purchasing environment
