About the Role

We are seeking a Buyer to support procurement and supply chain operations for a dynamic organization in the energy sector. This long-term contract role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, managing sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Procurement & Supply Chain Management

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
• Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand technical requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities within SAP or relevant management systems.

✅ Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Analyze supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing strategies with business needs.

✅ Data Analysis & Decision-Making

• Assess market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing strategies to optimize procurement decisions.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to evaluate technical data and commercial terms.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

What You Need to Succeed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Material Management, or Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• Oil & Gas industry experience preferred but not mandatory.

Technical & Soft Skills:

• Fluent in written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus).
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in SAP or other procurement management systems.
• Ability to assess technical specifications and align them with supplier capabilities.
• Results-driven, problem solver, and decision-maker with strong interpersonal skills.
