Project Procurement Manager

We are seeking a Project Procurement Manager to oversee procurement activities for complex projects, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and compliance with quality and engineering standards. This is a key role for an experienced procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across supplier management, risk mitigation, and strategic sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement project procurement plans, ensuring efficiency, cost savings, and adherence to best practices.

Oversee all procurement functions, setting performance criteria and tracking key metrics.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, enforcing ethical supplier relationships.

Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise project impact.
Supplier Management & Negotiation

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, assessing performance and developing new sourcing opportunities.

Conduct supplier qualification processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Lead contract negotiations, reviewing commercial terms with relevant internal teams and securing optimal agreements.

Manage bid processes, authorise purchase orders, and oversee contract execution.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement

Maintain proactive communication with clients and project teams, ensuring procurement objectives align with overall project goals.

Provide regular updates on procurement progress, challenges, and opportunities for cost savings.

Translate client feedback into actionable improvements in procurement processes.
About You:
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Proven experience in supplier qualification and procurement management for large-scale projects.

In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
Technical Skills

Proficiency in procurement software such as SAP, Documentum, SharePoint, and Power BI.
