- Has good knowledge of manufacturing or assembling process of procured material or equipment with simple varieties of engineered items
- Monitor and report on the progress of vendor drawings approvals by Engineering Service Providers and technical stakeholders, which is a prerequisite to the Supplier achieving the target delivery date
- Obtain the Supplier's planned schedule and monitor Supplier's actual progress and key milestones; update and periodically distribute the MSR (material status report) to the Business Unit client
- Monitor sub-Supplier progress if required for milestone payment purposes - Periodically obtain verification from the Business Unit Client on the material ROS (required on site) date
- Confirm the Supplier's RTS (ready to ship) date when the Supplier nears order completion, and update the MSR
- Compare the ROS and RTS dates, and estimated transportation time, in order to ensure meeting the Business Unit Client's schedule
- Escalates unforeseen changes and impacts from both the Supplier and Business Unit Client perspectives
- Obtain a recovery plan from the Supplier for forecast late delivery and immediately inform the Business Unit Client
- Notify the company and/or third party personnel as to the expected delivery date, freight provider and relevant shipment details such as dimensions, weights, quantities
- If cross-border transaction and the company is responsible for material transportation, provide a priced copy of the PO / RO to the Customs broker in advance of the RTS date
- Ensure the company or third party personnel responsible for physical receiving have issued an MRR (material receiving report) without any OS&D (overage, shortage, or damage) items for personnel to electronically receive goods to enable Supplier payment
- If OS&D occurs, assist the company or third party personnel in resolving with the Supplier
