The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge, hands-on experience with advanced security systems, and the ability to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot both CCTV and fire alarm infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Program and integrate surveillance cameras with various recording systems (NVRs/DVRs).

·       Monitor and diagnose issues in camera systems, analyze root causes, and propose technical solutions.

·       Perform firmware/software updates for cameras and related security systems as needed.

·       Manage storage systems and servers linked to surveillance infrastructure.

·       Configure and fine-tune surveillance system settings in alignment with approved security policies.

·       Maintain, program, and conduct regular readiness testing for fire alarm systems.

·       Ensure integration between surveillance systems and auxiliary safety systems such as alarms and access control.

·       Conduct periodic testing of monitoring and alarm systems and document results accurately.

·       Prepare detailed technical reports for scheduled maintenance and emergency incidents.

Required Skills:

·       Strong understanding of IT and cybersecurity principles.

·       Proficiency in setting up surveillance networks and managing video retention policies.

·       Advanced technical skills in system programming and configuration.

·       Ability to read and interpret engineering and electrical/network schematics.

·       Familiarity with technical and networking terminology (e.g., IP Configuration, VLANs).

·       Practical experience with Video Management Systems (VMS) such as HikCentral, Milestone, and Genetec.

·       Experience configuring fire alarm systems and integrating them with central control units.

·       Knowledge of integration protocols such as ONVIF and RTSP.

Qualifications and Experience:

·       Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.

·       Recognized professional certification such as CCNA.

·       Specialized certification in security systems (e.g., Hikvision Certified Engineer or equivalent).

·       Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in programming and configuring CCTV and early fire detection systems.

·       Strong knowledge of camera network setup and integration with central and network storage systems.

·       Experience with fire alarm systems from vendors such as Simplex, Notifier, and Siemens.

·       Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and responsiveness in emergencies.

Additional Qualifications:

·       Additional certifications in security or fire alarm systems (e.g., NFPA Certifications or equivalent).

·       Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking - intermediate level or above).

·       Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.

·       Experience with Access Control Systems and their integration with surveillance and alarm platforms.

Summary of our Terms & Conditions:

  • Work Cycle of 56 Days Work /21 Days Leave including travel days (Europe & North America Candidates)

  • Work Cycle of 65 Days Work /21 Days Leave including travel days (Other Candidates)

  • 9 Hours a day / 6 Days a week

  • Payment for work days only
