We have a current opportunity for a Corporate Communication Specialist on a contract basis. The position will be based in Abu Dhabi. For further information about this position please apply.

Starting Date : A.S.A.P
Period Required : Two (2) years with possible extension(s).
Work Location : Onshore (Abu Dhabi Main Offices)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in communications or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of Communication experience with skills in creating content for print, online and interactive media.
Minimum 5 years of internal and external Web / Social media mastering skills with focus on firefighting to resolve issues by self.
Excellent English language skills
Proficiency in Windows XP, Microsoft Office package (Planning…etc.).
Ability to use basic design tools, such as: illustrator, InDesign and photoshop

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the communications activities and making sure that events, content, and deliverables are successfully executed while maintaining a solid strategy amongst all stakeholders, internally and externally.

Coordinate the internal and external affiliate events, exhibition and conference.

Coordinate the creation and development of the affiliate communication tools/visuals

Support the Corporate Communication and Societal team in the development and implementation of its strategy, brand awareness and activities that targets various stakeholders’ including but not limited to local authorities, partners, and the general public

Serve as a webmaster for the affiliate internal and external website/tools.

Support the affiliate internal stakeholders in their communication requirement and maintain a strong relationship with them.

Support the execution of the internal events including but not limited employee company events including but not limited to workshops/ forums, meetings, and end of year event

Support in Financial negotiations / follow up – Budget tracking – spreadsheets / other trackers, LPOs

Regularly update content, monitor, analyze, and report on all online traffic.

Collaborate and cooperate with the Corporate Communication and Societal team in the development of content in regard to external and internal activities.

Monitor all aspects of news relating to the company and the broader industry to provide timely alerts to the team and wider business, including TV, print, online and social media and also
liaise with journalists to create a good media network.

Write concise reports and summaries on key stories including incisive assessment and evaluation.

Support, coordinate and successfully execute external events including but not limited to exhibition and conferences
