ConsultingWe’re looking for a hands-on Network Support Engineer to join our client’s IT team in Norwich, providing vital support for 24/7 onshore and offshore operations.
This is a practical, varied role covering installation, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and seeing jobs through from start to finish.
Office-based Mon–Fri in Norwich with regular UK site/offshore travel. Includes on-call rota for critical events.

What you’ll do:
- Manage and support network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues via the IT Helpdesk system
- Monitor network performance and minimise downtime
- Support offshore telecoms equipment and site-to-site radio links
- Work with the Group Network Team (Paris) and liaise with WAN providers
- Maintain accurate records, backups, and recovery plans
- Extension knowledge and experience working within the Cisco command line (or higher)
- Strong knowledge of IP networks, routing, switching, and security
- Hands-on experience with Cisco kit and VoIP
- Problem-solving mindset, practical approach, and ability to work independently or in a team
