Are you ready to lead our team as a Lead Piping Engineer? Join our client, a major oil and gas company, and be a part of the exciting ABSHERON FFD FEED project in London, United Kingdom.
Role Overview
- Manage the piping discipline for the onshore CPF package and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure all piping requirements are addressed.
- Provide value-adding knowledge to constructability reviews and 3D model reviews, considering layout restrictions, ergonomics, safety, utilities, and maintainability.
- Oversee the performance of the FEED CTR and actively participate in the EPC CFT preparation.
- Review piping stress analysis and identify critical lines.
- Ensure piping engineering deliverables adhere to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Approve 3D models, stress analysis, drawings, and other piping deliverables.
- Integrate piping layouts and designs into overall product design with other engineering disciplines.
- Perform technical reviews, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for piping layouts and systems.
- Develop and review proposals with clearly defined material, equipment, and delivery information.
- Adhere to HSE Standards.
- Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
- Knowledge of environmental principles, practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and current Country legislative issues.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in piping discipline for oil and gas onshore plants.
- Ability to identify, control, and manage risks related to scope of work.
- Adherence to Company Code of Conduct, Vision, Values, and Behaviours.
- Knowledge of Safe System of Working including Accountability of Safety.
- Development of equipment and piping layouts, ensuring compliance with project specifications, piping materials, codes, and standards.
- Experience with piping deliverables associated with project engineering designs, studies, cost estimates, and project executions.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling, piping layouts, piping stress analysis, and risk assessment (optional).
- Collaboration with other engineering disciplines for integrated product design.
- Technical reviews, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for piping layouts and systems.
- Awareness of HSE Standards.
- Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
- Knowledge of environmental principles, practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and current Country legislative issues.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in piping discipline for oil and gas onshore plants.
- Experience within project: Minimum 15 years.
- Languages: Fluent in English.
